Lickin' the bowl!

Alex's first experience with baking chocolate chip cookies. He loved the dough and loved the finished product even more! Of course, he asked for milk after finishing half a cookie.

Boo!

Alex was a teddybear for Halloween. He had a really great time! He wasn't sure about all these strangers handing him things, but he really enjoyed seeing all the kids in costumes- he waved to every one of them- and he was so excited that he was able to roam the neighborhood after dark. He ran up and down the sidewalk yelling "Boo!" Mama and Daddy enjoyed all the candy he collected for us. Ha! And much to my chagrin, Alex really likes lollipops.

Here's a little tidbit: We kept telling him that he was a bear, and the next day he began signing "bear" and saying it! It sounds like "bah," but he says it and points to pictures and toys of bears, so we know that he's made the connection. Pretty cool! I can't wait for the language explosion that should be happening within the next month or two!

The latest doo

After Omi had been insisting for weeks, we finally decided to attempt an in home haircut once again. We sat him in his chair, turned on Boohbah, and tag-teamed him, bickering all the while. Alex reacted by swatting at us as if we were annoying flies, with an irritated and whiny "uhn... ahhhh... mmmm."
Not too bad for amateurs.
Its been a few weeks now. We'll see how long Omi can hold out. ;) Christmas pictures will be soon!

Workin' hard or hardly workin'...

Still loves to play with his laptop. Its only a mild deterrent from playing with mine...
We tell him "no touch", so he taunts us by putting his pointer finger on the computer and looking us square in the eye. Pushin' those boundaries, eh?
