Alex's First Christmas Show

Ah, the insanity of a not-yet-pre-school Christmas show. Apparently Alex absolutely refused to wear his hat. Such a diva. Enjoy!

We have become the ones we despise.

Uncles, and cousins, and aunt... oh my!

Uncle David, Aunt Ezy, Uncle Brent, and cousins Kearsten and Nathan came to visit for a long weekend right before Christmas. It was a packed but very cozy and fun house. We played games, ate and drank well, and went to the NJ State Aquarium- always a good time.

Alex the sous chef

Alex insisted on helping make the stock for the turkey brine today... and demanded to use every utensil in the kitchen to stir it. If that doesn't say chef-in-training, I don't know what does!
Mommy does not get paid to work the dish station. ;-)

Santa Claus is coming to town...

Santa made a surprise visit last night...and Alex couldn't have been happier!
